11 - FOREIGN INVESTORS RESIDENCE AND WORKING CONDITIONS INSURANCE Foreign nationals can take out insurance policies in the same way as French nationals. These policies are strongly recommended, and some are compulsory. Personal insurance: - CAFAT/RUAMM It is compulsory for everyone (employees, the self-employed, company directors, etc.) to join a health insurance scheme in order to benefit from social cover.
