PROMOSUD PromoSud, the Southern Province's financing and development company, was set up to support investors and businesses in their start-up phase, enabling them to become self-sufficient after 5 years. PromoSud provides financial support (equity investment and current account advances) for business start-up or development projects that invest in forward-looking sectors that are major creators of jobs and added value in the Southern Province. The priority sectors are the tourist hotel industry, aquaculture, forestry, agri-food, the processing industry and renewable energies. Other sectors are eligible, but not priority, such as industrial fishing and deer farming. The Government has created a digital platform dedicated to businesses, which centralises all the aid, formalities, services and support available to entrepreneurs in the territory.
